Providing infrastructure for development of 2 new social services in the community

The project envisages major repairs/reconstruction, renovation, provision of a new material and technical base and implementation of energy efficiency measures in 1 site of the social infrastructure of the Sofia Municipality, which are necessary for the creating two new social services in the community, defined by the Map for Support Services in the Community and Family Environment , as follows: Day Care Center for Children with Severe Multiple Disabilities and their Families, and Center for Public support. These 2 new community based social services are planned to be placed on following address district Vitosha, residential area Dragalevtsi, № 1 305 str. The renewed infrastructure and the new material base will contribute to the emergence of new quality social services in the community that provide social support and inclusion. The services will provide an opportunity for active social inclusion of the representatives of the target groups, including: - children and adolescents with severe permanent multiple disabilities; - children and families at risk, through social and psychological counseling, prevention (from abandonment, dropout, etc.), support for reintegration of children from a family environment, training in skills for independent living and social integration of children, accommodated in resident services, and others. All the technical parameters of the forthcoming construction and assembly works and the new equipment, designed to provide material and technical basis needed for disclosure of the new services, are in full compliance with: - the functional requirementsand guidelines for the construction of the infrastructure, developed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP), and - the relevant European documents for deinstitutionalization and life In the community.
