Building a social care complex for the elderly and mentally retarded

The project proposal envisages the construction of a complex for social care for the elderly and people with mental disabilities on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality, according to the Community Support Services Card and the Resident Services Card through: 1. Construction of 4 buildings (new construction), each of which is intended to provide services “Center for services for people with mental disabilities” with a total capacity of 60 persons (places) in the village of Tserova koriya, Veliko Tarnovo Municipality. The centers are self-contained solid buildings located in a common parcel with separate adjoining yard spaces. Architecturally they will be formed into a single composite complex. The outdoor area common to the complex will be shaped like a park with places for resting and walking lanes. It is planned to build a common kitchen for the four buildings (in an outbuilding to one of the main buildings), furnished and equipped taking into consideration the total number of inhabitants. 2. Repair, reconstruction, modernization and rehabilitation of an existing building for the provision of the service "Center for services elderly people unable for self-service" with capacity of 15 persons (places) in Veliko Tarnovo. The center will be established as a self-contained building with a separate entrance and own adjacent yard. In each of these buildings there will be common spaces, personal rooms and premises for providing services (warehouses, for the staff, medical cabinets according to the legislative requirements). Engineering activities will be carried out (designing, author's supervision and building construction); preparing a compliance assessment; construction supervision; an information and communication campaign to promote the project. The necessary equipment and furnishing will be delivered and assembled according to the requirements for the provision of the respective service, and the adjoining yard space will be developed accordingly.
