"Building a Day Center for support of persons with various forms of dementia and their families".

The project proposal of Kazanlak Municipality is related to the construction of a new social center - Day center for support of persons with various forms of dementia and their families according to the Community support services map for the 2018-2021 Action Plan for the implementation of National Long-Term Care Strategy. The construction of the infrastructure for provision of social services for the elderly is based on functional requirements and guidelines in line with the relevant European documents for deinstitutionalization and community living developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria. For the needs of the project, Kazanlak Municipality envisages to use a public municipal property, where is located a building-construction of two floors, completed to stage "rough construction" with identification numebr № 35167.501.7265.12 with built-up area of 672 sq.m. Within the boundaries of the property is located and active nursing home № 2 - Home for elderly people with dementia "Dimitar Papazov", Kazanlak. DCSPVFDTF will consist of premises that will be territorially and functionally integrated into a separate site designed to meet the needs of future users .The newly created day center will have a capacity of 40 seats.
