Support for deinstitutionalization of social services for adults and people with disabilities in Lovech.

The need to develop, furnish and open a Care centre for the Disabled and the Elderly (people with mental disorders, mental retardation, various forms of dementia and elderly people in need of care) that has been identified in the Action plan for implementation of the National long-term care strategy for the period 2018-2021, will be met with the realization of the project proposal (PP). Target groups: -elderly people and people with disabilities. -elderly people with mental disorders, permanently accommodated (for over 1 year) in a state psychiatric hospitals and people who do not need active treatment, however cannot be discharged from the hospital due to lack of housing and relatives or the latter are not willing to take care of them. -adults with mental retardation and multiple disabilities -people with various forms of dementia -the relatives or other close people of elderly people, people with disabilities, dementia patients, etc., who are taking care of them -the general public Main objective: Developing the infrastructure needed for launching a social service in the community of elderly people and people with disabilities, in accordance with the Resident Services Card and the Community Support Services Map. Expected result: Quality social services to be provided to elderly people and people with disabilities through the developed infrastructure. The PP will contribute to an integrated approach to care for the elderly people and people with disabilities, having clear social impact and influence, through the guaranteed complementarity, integrity and sustainability of the measures set out in OPHRD 2014-2020. Main activities: Organization and management, information and communication measures, preparation of an investment project, execution of construction works, supervision of design implementation, construction supervision with investor functions and assessment of the compliance of the investment project, commissioning, furnishing and equipment.
