"Together for a dignified life"

The overall objective of the project „Together for dignified life” is to create conditions for the provision of new social services providing quality long-term care for disabled and elderly people. The specific objectives of the project are: - To provide conditions for the provision of quality long-term care for disabled and elderly people; - By reconstruction of existing bulding and providing the necessary equipment, to create the appropriate infrastructure and conditions for the provision of two new residential services in the community for disabled and elderly people; - By establishing a Day Care Center for people with different forms of dementia and their families to extend the range of social services offered to people with disabilities and their families. The direct target group of the project is 70 persons with disabilities and elderly people from the Municipality of Kardzhali, including 40 people who will use the social services provided by the Day Center for Support of People with Different Forms of Dementia and their families and 30 people who will use the services of the Center for the Care of Persons with Mental Disorders and the Care Center for People with Different Forms of Dementia. Indirect beneficiaries are over 240 members of the families of users of new social services, as well as about 40 staff members of new services. The main activities of the project are related to the execution of construction and assembly works for the reconstruction of the building in which the new two residential services will be created and building of new day center. The main activities includes the supply of equipment for these services, activities for conducting audits in accordance with the EEA and SPA, design, construction and author supervision, information and publicity, and project management. As a result of the project implementation, a social infrastructure will be built to provide quality social services for long-term care for disabled and elderly people.
