Support for deinstitutionalization of social services for adults and people with disabilities in Pernik Municipality

The project envisages the construction of residential-type centers in the municipality of Pernik. After construction,furnishing and equipment of two buildings, municipal property will be opened "Center for the Care for Persons with Mental Disorders", "Center for Care for People with Different Forms of Dementia" (CGLRDD) and " Center for the Care of the Elderly in Inability to Self-Service "(CLWHC) .The provision of services for the elderly with disabilities will be ensured by providing adequate social infrastructure. "Center for care for people with different forms of dementia" and "Center for care for the elderly people unable to self-service" will be located in a separate area in the building of Specialized Hospital for Continuous Treatment and Rehabilitation EOOD. The CGLRFD will be housed on the 3rd floor and will be equipped with 8 bedrooms with own bathrooms (two single rooms, one triple, five double rooms), two living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a director's office, a room for the staff sanitary unit, reception room. CGHFS will be located on the second floor and will be equipped with 9 bedrooms with sanitary units (three single and six double), a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a director's office, a room for the staff with a sanitary unit, a reception room, a warehouse and a medical cabinet (manipulation). For users' needs, interventions will also be made on the yard, creating an opportunity for active recreation. The "Center for the Care for Persons with Mental Disorders" will be located in a two-storey building with a 332 sq.m building plot, located in Hristo Smirnenski quarter. "The center will be equipped with a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a director's office, a staff room with sanitary unit, medical cabinet, storage and 9 rooms with bathrooms. The implementation of the project proposal will ensure the provision of quality social services for the target groups.
