"Establishing mental retardation care center in the village of Imrenchevo, municipality of Veliki Preslav"

The implementation of the current project proposal will contribute to providing necessary infrastructure for starting up a new social service in the municipality of Veliki Preslav, aimed towards disabled adults. This will be achieved by repair works, alterations, additions and modernization to a municipal building, where will be established a mental retardation care center for adults, in accordance with the Residential services map and the Services to support in community map. This will widen the spectrum of the currently provided social cares and guarantee long term social inclusion of individuals, living in isolation because of their constant need to be cared for. The object of intervention is located in the village of Imrenchevo, municipality of Veliki Preslav. It is a single floored semi massive right-angled building, spreading over 352 sq. meters. Its roof consist of old-style ceiling and wooden frames, covered with roof tiles. The building was constructed in the fifties of the twentieth century, where up till 1998 a grade school was housed. The building's condition is relatively good except for the roof, which has rotted elements and collapsed sections. Electricity and water supply installations are disconnected. The main activities include: 1. implementing construction works; 2. exercising authors's supervision; 3. exercising construction supervision; 4. technical passport drawing; 5. delivering and installing equipment and furniture; 6. introducing building into service. The expected results are: 1. implemented construction works, including: 2. exercised authors's supervision; 3. exercised construction supervision; 4. drawn technical passport; 5. delivered and installed equipment and furniture; 6. introduced building into service.
