"Construction of four care centers for people with mental disorders on the territory of Strumyani Municipality"

The project proposal "Construction of four care centers for people with mental disorders on the territory of Strumyani Municipality" is under PA 5 "Regional Social Infrastructure" of OP "Regions in Growth". Within the framework of the project through implementation of engineering will be built 4 new care centers for people with mental disorders in the v. Kamenitsa, Strumyani Municipality, meeting all functional requirements and providing access for people with disabilities in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance №4 / 01.07.2009 for the design, execution and maintenance of buildings in accordance with the requirements for an accessible environment. The new centers will offer services that create the conditions for a full service to consumers, related to meeting the daily, health, education and rehabilitation needs, organizing leisure and personal contacts. 60 individuals with mental and behavioral disorders will be direct users of the service. In order to ensure the activity within the project will be provided modern furniture and equipment, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for people with disabilities. As a result of the project, a social infrastructure will be provided, which is a prerequisite for accessible, high quality and sustainable services for long-term care for people with mental disorders, which is a tool for improving the quality of their life and for their full inclusion in the public life. Under the project will be carried out supporting engineering activities related to the assessment of the compliance of the investment project and construction supervision, information and publicity and project management. For the successful implementation of the project, the Beneficiary will conduct procedures according to the requirements of the PPA for selection of contractors for the project activities, will participate with its representatives in the project team and will supervise the strict implementation of the planned activities.
