Construction of a Center for Care for Persons with Mental Disorders in The Village of Deep Dol, Troyan Municipality

The project proposal envisages the construction of a Center for care for persons with mental disorders in the village of Deep Dol, Troyan Municipality with a capacity of 15 seats and includes construction and delivery of the necessary furniture and equipment. The same is aimed at ensuring access to quality social services for persons with disabilities and the elderly in line with the Action Plan 2018-2021 for the implementation of the National Long-Term Care Strategy. Troyan Municipality is included in the Residential Services Card and the Community Support Services Card. For the purposes of the application, a technical project has been approved and a building permit has been issued. For the construction of the center is envisaged an overhaul and reconstruction of the building of the former school in the village of Deep Dol, Troyan Municipality. The project provides a layout of the external adjacent space, tailored to the specifics of the target group, as well as parking for cars with four parking spaces. The architectural solution involves the separation of 9 pcs. single rooms, two of which are provided for hard-to-move persons, and 3 pcs. double rooms, one of which is also intended for hard-to-move persons. There is a therapy rooms, group activities and a day stay, staff rooms, and a kitchenette with dining area. Measures are envisaged for an accessible architectural environment. The facilities have good transport connectivity, given its distance of 10 km. from "General Hospital for Active Treatment – Troyan" Ltd. and 30 km away. from the State Psychiatric Hospital – Lovech. The project proposal will contribute to the implementation of the National Long-Term Care Strategy aimed at creating the conditions for independent and decent living for the elderly and disabled by providing quality, affordable and sustainable long-term care services tailored to the individual needs of consumers.
