The ancient city of Diocletianopolis (Hisarya) - the pearl of the Thracian province of balneotherapy in the Roman Empire.

The project proposal includes properties: part of the Plot III-Park, block 26 under the plan of the Archeological Reserve (AR) of Hisarya, part of the plot of land II-Park, block 96 according to the plan of the town of Hisarya . 485-486 according to the plan of (AP) town of Hissarya and UPI Fortress wall and green areas according to the plan of (AP) town of Hissarya. The objects, the subject of the project are of category "national importance" according to the register of the National Institute of Public Health, declared in accordance with RMC No 199 / 19.11.1976 (SG 97/1976): “The southern gate of Diocletianopolis is the emblem of the modern city of Hisarya. It is one of a kind and its preservation is important for the Bulgarian and European archeological science; -The thermals of the ancient city of Hisarya are one of the little preserved Roman baths near to the roof, with functioning water and sewerage facilities. In their significance and uniqueness, they represent a world-class object. -The northeast corner tower is the only octagonal tower in the reserve. The implementation of the project will include interventions related to the display and socialization of cultural monuments, which are major tourist attractions in the municipality of Hisarya, as well as the creation of attractions and the introduction of new interpretation techniques. Main activities for the project implementation: Activity 1. Perform conservation and restoration works and construction works related to socialization and exposure of objects from the NAR-Hisarya. Activity 2. Development and promotion of the tourist product. Activity 3. Organization and management of the project. Activity 4. Implementation of information and publicity measures. Activity 5. Project audit.
