Conservation, restoration and exhibition of tourist infrastructure in the municipality of Karlovo

The main objective of this project is to develop and promote competitive tourist attractions on the territory of Karlovo Municipality and to stimulate diversification of local and regional touristic products. Specific objectives: - Through the conservation and restoration of the sites included in the project and construction works and their overall socialization and adaptation, to support their transformation into preferred tourist attractions, offering suitable conditions for year-round visitation; - Raising the information about the destination and stimulate the interest of different target groups of tourists through the implementation of advertising and presentation campaigns; - Supporting the development of local business - directly or indirectly related to the development of tourist services, through increasing the tourist flow in Karlovo. The investments are directed towards the implementation of conservation and restoration works and construction and installation works, due to the specific nature of the site, namely the need to preserve the cultural monuments. Contributing to the improvement of the integrated touristic product of the municipality will be the exposure and socialization of the sites by providing access to a new attraction - Kurshum mosque and implementing measures to promote the tourism product at the municipality at the national level. Main activities: Activity 1. Perform conservation and restoration works and construction works for the restoration, conservation and display of the tourist sites Kurshum Mosque, Pateva Maza and Pavurdzhieva House. Activity 2. Delivery of equipment and furnishings for the Pavurdzhieva House and a building in the plot of the Pateva Maza. Activity 3. Implementation of measures for promotion of the integrated tourism product of Karlovo Municipality. Activity 4. Project organization and management. Activity 5. Information and publicity. Activity 6. Audit.
