Lot 12 „Road II-44 Draganovtsi – Gabrovo from km 14+600 to km 23+978.36 and from km 25+731 to km 28+972.75, with a total length of 12,620 km, region of Gabrovo”

The main result which will be achieved by the implementation of all the activities under the Project is the availability of a rehabilitated road section of 12.620 km of Road II–44. Conditions of safety of the traffic and the comfort of travelers for the inhabitants of three populated areas, the village of Draganovtsi, the village of Yankovtsi and the town of Gabrovo, will be provided with the rehabilitation and the improvement of the transportation and operational characteristics of the existing road pavement and the road body. The improved conditions for passing along the road section will exert a favorable impact over the target groups under this Project and the end beneficiaries – the population of the region of Gabrovo. The implementation of the activities anticipated under this Project will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and working environment as well as the provision of new possibilities for the enhancement of the competitiveness within the region. The rehabilitated road section improves the accessibility to the TEN-T network of cargos and passengers within the framework of the region, by which the goal of this scheme for provision of a grant will also be attained. The main activities which are input for the successful implementation of the project are: Forming of the Project Management Team, that will manage and co-ordinate all activities and participants involved in realization of the investment proposal; Construction works; Supervision; Designer’s Supervision on the project; Project’s Audit; Information and publicity measures for the Project; Put the project into operation, implementation of all project’s activities, verification of expenditures and reporting of the results achieved
