Lot 3 „Road II-81 Buchin prohod - Berkoviza from km 30+400 to km 51+235, with total length of 20.835 km, Sofia region”

The main objective of the project‘s proposal is the rehabilitation of road IІ-81 Buchin prohod–Berkovitsa from km 30+400 to km 51+235, improvement and modernization of the technical characteristics of the road section and achievement of the road pavement’s homogeneity. The project implementation will contribute to: increased population’s mobility, increased investment in the region, creation of new workplaces, improving the environment by reducing the emission of harmful greenhouse gases and the possibility of more choice to health and educational services for local population, as well as a stimulation of the tourism’s development. The implementation of rehabilitation of road ІІ-81 will satisfy the needs of the population of the Southwest region of Bulgaria, especially the residents of Sofia and transit traffic in the region. The main activities for successful implementation of the project are: - Formation of project management team to manage and coordinate all the activities and participants in the realization of the investment proposal; Selection of the Contractor for execution of the construction, signing a contract with him and implementation of the rehabilitation of the project - Selection of the Supervisor (Consultant) for the project, signing a contract with him and implementation of consultant services - Designer’s supervision of the site; - Implementation of the project audit by a certified auditor; - Selection of the Contractor for implementation of the Information and publicity activity for the project, signing a contract with him and implementation of the Information and publicity activity of the project; -Put the project into operation, implementation of all project’s activities, verification of expenditures and reporting of the results achieved
