Lot 6 “Road II-86 Plovdiv – Asenovgrad from km 14+860 to km 25+150 with a total length of 10,290 km, region of Plovdiv”

The main objective of this project proposal is the reconstruction of road II-86 Plovdiv–Asenovgrad from km 14+860 to km 25+150, improvement of the technical and operational characteristics of the section, through the construction of a second carriageway for the traffic and the rehabilitation of the existing right-hand carriageway. The implementation of the Project will contribute to:the enhancement of the mobility of the population, the increase of the investments within the region,the creation of new workplaces, the improvement of the condition of the environment through the reduction of the harmful emissions of greenhouse gases and possibility for greater selection of health care and educational services of the local population as well as stimulating the development of tourism. The needs of the population of the South central region of Bulgaria, mostly the residents of Plovdiv Region as well as of the passing in transit through the region, will be satisfied by the reconstruction of road ІІ-86. The main activities which are input for the successful implementation of the project are: Forming of the Project Management Team, that will manage and co-ordinate all activities,Selection of the Contractor for execution of the construction, signing a contract with him and implementation of the project’s reconstruction, Selection of the Supervisor for the project, signing a contract with him and implementation of independent supervising services,Signing a contract for the Designer’s supervision with the Designer and implementation of the Designer’s supervision on site, Implementation of the project’s audit by a certified auditor,Selection of the Contractor for implementation of the Information and publicity activity for the project, signing a contract with him and implementation of the Information and publicity activity of the project, Put the project into operation,implementation of all project’s activities, verification of expenditures and reporting of the results achieved
