Lot 33 "Road II-23 Ruse - Kubrat from km 21+550 to km 46+771, with total length 25,221 km , Ruse and Razgrad Regions“

The main result achieved by the project's realization is a rehabilitated road section 21.52 km. Road II-23 serves the Ruse and Razgrad regions and provides a connection between Ruse and Razgrad reg. centers, as well as between Ruseamp;Kubrat Municipalities and Ruse Region, an indirect to Razgrad Region, as well as a connection with roads I-2 and II-49.The safety and the comfort of the traveling residents of villages Tetovo and Belovets to Ruse and to Kubrat, the extension of the road's life will be provided by the improvement of the transport-operational performances of the existing road. The improved conditions for passing through the road section will impact favorably on target groups under this project and the final beneficiaries-the population of Ruse and Razgrad Regions, Ruse and Kubrat Municipalities will contribute improv. the quality of life and working environment, providing new opportunities to enhance the competitive power in the region amp; accessibility to the TEN-T network of goods and passengers within the region, which achieves the objective of this grant. The main activities set for the successful realization of the project are: - Forming the Project Management Team, that will manage and co-ordinate all activities and participants involved in the realization of the investment proposal - Selection of the Contractor for the execution of the construction, signing a contract with him, and implementation of the project's rehabilitation. - Selection of the Supervisor (Consultant), signing a contract with him and implementation of independent supervising services during the construction period and the defects liability period - Implementation of the Designer’s supervision on the execution of the construction on site - Implementation of the project's information and publicity activities - Put the project into operation, implementation of all project’s activities, verification of expenditures and reporting of the results achieved
