Technical assistance for Ruse Municipality - Beneficiary under Priority Axis 1 of Operational Programme “Regions in Growth” 2014-2020

The current project proposal is developed with the aim to assist Ruse Municipality in the activities related to the management and implementation of its Investment Programme for the period until the year 2023, as well as in its functions as Intermediate body under Priority axis 1 "Sustainable and integrated urban development" under Operational Programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020. With the programme a natural and logical transition will be achieved between the approved Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development of the city of Ruse and the specific projects for which grants will be provided under Operational Programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020. The project proposal includes the following activities: 1. Updating of systems for financial management and control for the purpose of implementation and management of the investment programmes of 39 cities in accordance with their functions under procedure for providing grant BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 “Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Regeneration and Development 2014-2020” 2. Remunerations of the teams for implementation of investment programmes under procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 “Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Regeneration and Development” 2014-2020 3. Hiring of external evaluators and assistant evaluators for the Intermediate bodies to evaluate project proposals under procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 “Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Regeneration and Development” 2014-2020 4. Technical assistance for creation of urban networks and participation in events on EU level, related to the integrated urban sustainable development 5. Participation in programmes for exchange of experience and best practices 6. Expenses for publicity and visualization 7. Audit expenses
