Budget Line Dimitrovgrad

The project proposal aims to respond to the needs of the beneficiary for the efficient implementation of the OPRD 2014-2020 by creating conditions for improvement of the administrative capacity of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad, acting as a concrete beneficiary under the Programme and an Intermediate Body for its implementation. The new function of the Intermediate Body, which the Municipality is going to perform, requires building new skills and knowledge in the experts of the unit as well as upgrading the potential they have. Forming of the structure „Intermediate Body" and its full operating requires bringing the systems for the financial management and control in accordance with its functions and tasks and integrating of the unit into a system aiming to keep the principles of the sound financial management. The target groups during the implementation of the project proposal are the experts from the Intermediate Body and the municipality as a concrete beneficiary within the implementation of the functions for the realization of Procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039. The objective which is going to be achieved with the implementation of the present project is all the necessary preconditions for the successful implementation of the Integrated Plan for urban regeneration and development of Municipality of Dimitrovgrad to be created. The expected results are a completed functioning of the Intermediate Body, educated experts, provided management of the Investment Programme and successfully implemented evaluation procedures for project proposals under the implementation of the IPURD. The main activities under the present project proposal are assuring the payment to the experts from the Intermediate Body, the team for the management of the Investment Programme, external evaluators, participation in events at EU level, participation in programmes for education, exchange of experience and good practices.
