Technical assistance for Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality - a beneficiary under Priority Axis 1 of OPRG 2014-2020

Overall objective: To improve the administrative capacity of Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality in order to fulfil its functions and obligations as a local authority responsible for the implementation of its own sustainable urban development strategy - Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development (IPURD) of Gorna Oryahovitsa city for the period 2014-2020. The project proposal has the following specific objectives: - To provide financial support to the evaluation process of the project proposals included in the Municipal investment programme for the period till 2023; - Implementation of the Municipal investment programme according to the outlined projects timetables in it and the requirements of the Managing authority; The project objectives will be achieved through the implementation of several key activities related to: Remuneration of the investment programme implementation team for the period till 2023; Hiring evaluators, who are not employees of the intermediate body, to assess the project proposals included in the Investment programme.The project amount is 102 363,92 BGN and its duration is 92 months. The project implementation team consists of a project manager and an accountant. Information about the project and the project donor will be disseminated - published information on the municipal web site and placed poster in the city building.
