Support for the Intermediate Body and for Managing the Investment Programme for Implementing Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development - Pazardjik

The overall aim of the individual budget line is increasing the capacity of Pazardjik municipality to carry out its role as a beneficiary under Priority Axis 1 of the OPRD and an intermediate body and for successful use of Axis 1 OPRD 2014-2020 funding opportunities in order to fulfill its functions in the capacity of urban power, according to the ERDF Regulation 1301/2013. The aim of the budget line will be achieved through implementation of activities aimed at ensuring the remuneration of the staff for implementation of the Investment program and the team of the Intermediate body with a view to the realization of the procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 "Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Regeneration and Development 2014 -2020", hiring external for the intermediate body assessment experts for evaluating project proposals on the procedure, participation of 5 municipal officials in programs for exchange of experience and best practices, update of financial management and control system and activities such as publicity and visualization of EU financial support and activities of the organization and management of individual budget line. As a result of the implementation of the planned activities are expected to be provided financial support for the intermediate body activities, including evaluation of project proposals under the Investment Program by employed external experts and management and monitoring activities carried out by the team of the Investment program of IPURD of Pazardjik, which will be accomplished by providing remuneration for 6 employees part time and hiring 7 external assessment experts and to improve the administrative capacity of the municipality to implement the policy for sustainable urban development.
