Technical assistance for Sofia Municipality

The current project proposal is developed aiming to support Sofia Municipality in managing and implementing the Investment Program (IP) activities until 2023 as well as its delegated functions as Intermediate Unit (IU) under Priority Axes 1 “Sustainable integrated urban development” of OP “Regions in growth” 2014 -2020. The Program will make the logical transition between the approved Integrated plan for urban recovery and development of Sofia and the concrete projects to be funded under OP “Regions in Growth” 2014 – 2020. The Project proposal includes following activities: 1. Updating of financial management and control systems; 2. Staff costs for the Project team of IP; 3. Staff costs for IU team regarding the implementation of “Implementing of urban recovering and development 2014 – 2020 plans” procedure; 4. Contracting of external assessors and assistant assessor for assessment of project proposals under “Implementing of urban recovering and development 2014 – 2020 plans” procedure for the needs of IU; 5. Participation in study visits and experience and good practices exchange; 6. Publicity and visualization of the activities; 7. Audit; 8. Organization and management costs. The implementation of the project proposal will facilitate the realization of the Investment Program of Sofia Municipality and the reaching of the 2018 milestones under Priority 1 and the final target goals on the relevant indicators for 2023. Target groups are: - Experts of the team for implementing of IP; - Experts from IU; - Experts of assessment commissions; - Municipal administration experts participating in Urban Development Network initiatives; - Municipal administration experts participating in study visits and experience and good practices exchange
