"Improving the administrative capacity of Karnobat municipality for the successful implementation of proposals for energy efficiency"

Karnobat municipality is a key institution for the implementation of Priority Axis 2 "Support for energy efficiency support centers in outlying areas" of the Operational Programme “Regions for Growth” 2014-2020. Besides being the main beneficiary, it liaises between the floor owners and funding body. Provides technical supervision, quality control and administration of the whole process. This important place in the implementation of priority axis implies well-trained, knowledgeable and skilled municipal staff having specific and directly relevant to the administration and implementation. That is why this project proposal involves the exchange of experiences and good practices that essentially constitute participation in trainings, seminars, workshops and more in Germany, Czech Republic and Bulgaria. These forums will play an important role in the effective and efficient use of public resources and achieve the desired effect. Increasing administrative capacity is an inherent activity preceding and accompanying the implementation of energy efficiency projects. In regards of this is expected to organize various training activities in the countries in which the type of construction and experience of local communities in renovating and improving energy efficiency is a lengthy and successful process. To provide more and various other manifestations of training directly related to the implementation of energy efficiency in Bulgaria. The topics are specifically related to the implementation of projects under the procedure: "Energy efficiency in peripheral areas" and will not duplicate general trainings conducted under other programs / projects.
