The pandemic caused by COVID-19, which has lasted for more than 2 years, has led to a complicated epidemic situation in the country. Serious trials facing the health system call for urgent action to address the challenges and long-term consequences of the spread of the coronavirus. The developed pandemic has led to a rethinking of the existing procedures for bringing the hospital network in the country ready to respond to health crises. In this regard, the current project proposal has been prepared, which aims to create isolated structures for the treatment of coronavirus and other infectious diseases in certain hospitals in the country, which will be ready to meet new waves of coronavirus pandemic, as well as in the event of other epidemic or pandemic outbreaks of infectious diseases. Through the implementation of the planned activities, construction and repair activities will be carried out for the establishment of isolated areas for treatment and monitoring of patients. The newly established sectors will be provided with the necessary medical and non-medical equipment for their operation, including breathing apparatus, intensive care beds and mobile X-ray machines. The project will be implemented throughout the country and covers 132 sites - state and municipal hospitals with the necessary human and material capacity. The resource aimed at increasing the capacity of medical institutions on the one hand will improve their functioning in the conditions of an ongoing pandemic, and on the other hand will make a timely and effective response to similar crises in the future. The implementation of the activities envisaged in the project for the establishment of isolated structures for treatment of patients in epidemic situations, provided with the necessary medical equipment, the health system in the country will achieve high levels of protection for such threats to public health.
