Commercialization of new innovative product: Hydraulic gear pump designed for 7-speed automatic gearboxes, dual dry clutch transmition (DDCT).

Caproni was founded in 1991, and is a renown manufacturer of hydraulic components and systems worldwide. The production portfolio includes: hydraulic gear pumps, valve control gear, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic stations and mini-agregates with application mainly in: cars; agricultural machinery - tractors, harvesters; electric forklifts; ships, yachts; industrial and road construction machines. In 2015 42% of the turnover of the company is formed by production of automobile pumps entirely for the European and Global market. The work of the research team of the company and subject of this project proposal is the new "hydraulic gear pump," an innovative at global level product, designed especialy for the automotive industry, and in particular for the global car manufacturers with a 7-speed automatic gearboxes, dual dry clutch transmition (DDCT). The new product is of interest to manufacturers of cars with automatic gearboxes, as it offers a unique solution of specific problems arising from the disadvantages of the existing similar models. Caproni estimated high potencial for market realisation of this product. The introduction of the innovative product will enlarge the product' range, thus will expand and improve the market position of the company and increase its revenue. For the deployment into production of the new product, the company needs to purchase high-tech equipment, namely: 1.Multi Spindle Turning Machine- 1pc. 2.CNC- Turning Machine -1pc. 3.CNC Twin Spindle Turning Machine- 1pc. 4.Circular Saw Machine 1pc. The new equipment will guarantee for the technological realization of the project, will help to achieve better cost and will provide sufficient production capacity and profitable production of the new hydraulic gear pump.
