Innovations introduction in the production line of Kalinel Ltd.

The overall project objective is to increase the competitiveness of Kalinel Ltd on the global market, increasing its innovation and production capacity through commercialization of world level innovative technology for home textile production by use of ultrasound. The specific objectives are: - To select a manufacturer and produce the innovative machine for cutting and gluing pillows and blankets with ultrasound; - To expand the export opportunities and market share of Kalinel Ltd. on the world market, following the introduction in the production of better quality products at a lower cost; - To increase the production capacity of the company by introducing innovative automated high production capacity machine for cutting and sealing covers with ultrasound; -To expand the market share of the company on the global market. This project proposal fully meets the objective of this procedure, namely providing focused support to export-oriented Bulgarian company to increase its innovation activity in one of the identified thematic areas of ISIS - "Mechatronics and clean technologies", direction: "Mechanical and Instrument Engineering' and ' clean and waste-free technologies'. The project meets the specific objective of Priority Axis 1 of OPIC to increase the innovation activity of the enterprises within the specific thematic areas of the National innovation strategy for intelligent specialization and directly fits into the strategic goal of the strategy as the project will significantly increase the production capacity and the growth of the company based on the competitive advantages of the innovative technology- economy, quality and high performance. The project activities include tender for selecting the manufacturer of the innovative machine by custom requirements in compliance with the Bulgarian EU funds management law, manufacture, supply and commissioning of the machine, providing publicity and visualization of the project.
