New Ultra HD TV over Internet Protocol

The need that will satisfy the new GCN' service is aimed mainly at two directions - watching TV with ultra quality in high-speed networks and TV broadcasting without any interruption and with high-possible quality, provided through low-speed and/or poor quality networks, under conditions of full mobility and independent of terminal device - receiver. The goal of GCN is to reach new markets in our country, and globally- through the implementation of new innovative technology for a new level of television over internet protokol (IP). This project is designed for three target groups: - offering wealthy clients the opportunity to enjoy non-linear services with ultra-high quality; - offering non-linear services to customers, with slow internet access (insufficient broadband speed)- for example in rural areas or in 3G mobile networks as well as offering TV services to Bulgarians living abroad; - direct access to end customers (without the use of subcontractors (ISPs -Internet Service Providers) in order to save costs. The main project activities are: - Purchase of high-tech equipment. - Purchase of specialized software. - Consulting and training , necessary for new technology and television standards in Bulgaria. - Providing databases ready electronic menus; - Conduct market analysis and market research. - Testing and certification of the new system. GCN will become a leader in high-tech innovative provider over IP in Bulgaria. Activities, related to this project revives investment made in it and contribute to the achievement of the main goal of the project - market realization of the new service "New Ultra HD TV over Internet Protocol." For the first time in the world, we are going to build a full, clean license production line to transmit OtTTV with a new method for video encoding - HEVC H265, which is protected by patent.
