Innovations of Ecostar for smart management of energy grid.

Following several years of working in research and applied research, Ecostar came to creating progressive software solution in the field of energy efficiency and developing technology of Demand Side Management (management on the customer side). The software solution is named APDSM (Advanced Platform for Demand Side Management). The main objective of this project is by purchasing controllers for installation at customer sites and developing mobile application to bring to market an innovative process platform APDSM. The innovative platform has the following main characteristic - smart management by applying commands to the equipment installed at the consumers in order to achieve a temporary reduction in the consumption of network and utilization of local generation capacity of users at maximum efficiency for them and the energy system. APDSM supports multiple generators and batteries, allowing them to produce and store energy for the needs of users, but also to serve as a supply network. Marketing of APDSM will be achieved through the implementation of activities for the acquisition of tangible fixed assets (Programmable controller with three-phase measurement module, relay unit and communication and servers) and through activities for development of mobile application. The project will create a new business entity of Ecostar, which will carry the new activity of the company for smart grid management through APDSM platform. The project activities contribute directly to achieving the project goal and will lead to increased innovation capacity and competitiveness of the Ecostar - S LTD. Following implementation of the project Ecostar - S Ltd. will implement new for the company and market service - smart management of electrical grid aimed at a wide range of customers - electricity consumers, electricity traders and operators of power grids.
