“B n S SMART – innovation from MIZIA-96 AD“

MIZIA – 96 AD is a leading producer of men’s clothing in the country with a history of over 60 years. The company is the legal successor of MIZIA EAD. It was founded in 1950 in the town on Pleven. Now the company operates as a shareholding enterprise. Its production base comprises over 3 000 square meters, and as at 31.12.2015, the staff was over 1 024 people. The company specializes in the production of men’s clothing. 90% of the production is of classic clothing. The main products are men’s jackets, suits, trousers and gilets. The average monthly production capacity amounts to 26,000 jackets and 21,000 trousers. This product’s main aim is to create prerequisites for the mass product and market implementation of the innovative product “B n S SMART”, a development of MIZIA – 96 AD, on the Bulgarian, European, and global markets. This project proposal will allow the company to diversify its product portfolio and cover an entirely new segment – the users of clothing for alternative and extreme tourism and sports. The specified objective will be achieved by acquiring high-tech equipment needed for the production of the innovative product “B n S SMART”. The project’s successful implementation will result in the following specific results for MIZIA-96 AD: + implementing and commencing mass production of the innovative product “B n S SMART”; + entering an entirely new market segment through the market implementation of the innovative product “B n S SMART”; + diversification of the company’s product portfolio; + enhanced innovation and institutional capacity; + information procurement about entering new export markets. In view of the positive effects described above, this project proposal will be the main instrument to enhance the innovation capacity and the competitiveness of MIZIA-96 on the Bulgarian and international markets.
