Improving competitiveness of "Soldex" Ltd via integration of innovative mechatronic process and diversification of the core activity.

Soldex Ltd was registered in 2004 in Bulgaria with main activity in the recreational industry on one hand and on the other, via the acquisition of 100 % of the shares of "M-Pomoriiski Solnici" EOOD during 2004, the candidate invests also in the market of mining and processing of sea salt . Based on a thorough market and technical studies, Soldex identifies an existing market niche that is yet to be explored and decides to diversify its core activity via investing in high-tech installation for primary processing of the mined raw material, including the main stages of deep cleansing and effective stacking of the mined sea salt in a highly efficient manner. As a result of the successful implementation of the current project a worldwide innovative and mechatronic process will be launched. The candidate has submitted an application for registration of a Utility model in the Patent Office of Republic of Bulgaria, referring to the installation, to be financed under the current project and that will enable the enterprise to start an effective process for deep cleansing and further stacking of the mined sea salt in order to reach the highest possible quality of the raw material after its primary mining from the terrain. The candidate has developed the word wide innovative process with proprietary resources and a team of experts in the area, which will be successfully launched by purchase and place in use of the highly technological installation for cleansing and stacking of sea salt which consists of several main mechanic and electronic components that create strong synergies and enable the high efficient and effective process. As a result of the innovative process the candidate will diversify its core activity and will start the processing of mined sea salt which will enable the enterprise to offer a new serve on the Bulgarian market to all entities currently operating on the market but do not have such type of high tech installation in their technological base.
