Implementation of innovation - Trucks Weighing Scale Platform

"Traffic Systems" Ltd. is a company registered in Sofia in September 2011 and its main activity is connected with development of innovative software solutions in the field of transport. Among its main clients, there are companies, owners of large and medium-sized vehicle fleets (as forworders, courier companies, distributors), municipalities and other organizations. The main objective of the solutions, offered by the company is to optimize the costs for the clients for their vehicle fleets, to provide operational and analytical reports for the management staff wich are as detailed and flexible as possible, and also to provide the most stable and secure access to the system from anywhere in the world at any time of the day. The current project proposal aims to create a platform for truck weighing scale, which scales the cargo as indicates the overload in case of exceeding the maximum permissible weight for the truck. This product will facilitate the work of the logistic companies, since at this stage, as some of the clients doesn`t have all of the specific information regarding the weight of its cargo. The solution of this problem is to create a platform for measuring the loads of the van/trailer. The entire device (consisting of two components) 1- electronic scale and 2 - managing module, representing the whole Platform. In addition to the loads measure, there will also be a possibility to send the information generated in real time to the central server of the system. This way it culd be used for sending alerts (messages) to the employees involved in management of the fleet of the company (in case of overloading) or the proper reporting of the cargo (for logistic companies). The implementation of the project will lead to increase in the innovation activities and competitiveness of the company through the marketing of the innovative product, the result of which will be the improvement of the market presence and performance of the company.
