Implementation of an innovative service in the field of personal medicine and individual therapy - a mini-invasive endoscopic retrograde surgical treatment of non-cancerous and cancerous diseases of the genito-urinary system

The proposed project relates to the implementation and marketing of a new quality service in the field of personal medicine and individual therapy - a minimally invasive endoscopic retrograde surgical treatment of non-cancerous and cancerous diseases of the genito-urinary system with an extended period of medical observation and patent monitoring. The service, subject of this project is comprised within the thematic scope of 'Industry for healthy living and biotechnologies' of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization (ISSS).The marketing of this service shall ensure the implementation of a completely new approach in the treatment of patients, suffering from urological diseases, an approach that shall integrate the latest methods of surgery with a unique in its nature post-operative follow-up and patent analysis for a period of two years. Neither in the European practice, nor in the scientific literature, at present, has been made any reference to the implementation of such a comprehensive approach, which marks this service as novelty on the European market. This innovation is owed entirely to the development of the Euromedics LTD team of MTSSMP, whereas its implementation and marketing within the project shall comprise the following activities under Element A Investments: 1/ Purchasing of new equipment, directly necessary for the implementation of the new service:Anaesthetization machine (1 unit), endoscopic urological equipment (1 unit), medical laser system (1 unit) and microtomy cryostat (1 unit); 2 / Development of specialized software application for post-operative follow-up of patients with diseases of the genito-urinary system, as part of the innovative service implementation. Under Element B Services, the project shall comprise the use of auxiliary services in support of the innovation and a service, specifically designed for conducting market analysis and market research that will contribute to the successful marketing of the implemented service.
