Development of autonomous energy streams system

In the past years the so called "Smart homes" are increasingly gaining popularity for being autonomous by using energy generated from renewable energy sources. Such sources are dependent on weather conditions. As a result of that is required the the produced energy to be stored in batteries and to be used when necessary. The main problem that the "green homes" are facing turns out to be the variance between the power consumption peak and the base load system, which raises the need for large batteries that provide sufficient power during these peaks without any real need for such capacity during the whole day - the maximum power a battery can provide is a function of its capacity. By implementing the current project, "TECHPOINT" Ltd. will develop an autonomous system for managing energy flows that will control the peak of electricity usage, enabling batteries to be used with their optimum capacity. The system will be developed by fulfilling test activities and trials. Also will be prepared financial and technical evaluation to determine the profitability of the investment as well as a marketing strategy and market research for assessment of the market and the potential realization of the innovation. As a result will be developed eco-innovation that has great potential for introduction in the economy, in consequence of which the innovation capacity in the thematic area "Mechatronics and clean technologies" in Innovation strategy for smart specialization will be increased as well will be increased the competitiveness of the company.
