Semantic repository of polimetric data on media sources

The semantic repository of polymeric data on media sources is an innovative solution by Perceptica Ltd., which disrupts a service in the subject of Creative industries and in particular in the field of archives and libraries. It provides a systematic multidimensional archive, built and read by machines, using semantic modules and tools for content recognition and enrichment. The existing methods and approaches to record and access such data have certain major limitations such as the lack of accessibility, narrow scope or too general selection filters. The proposed project will research and develop a repository of media sources that offers detailed annotations along with objective and flexible ranking system on media impact. The main task of the innovative repository is to eliminate the limitations of the currently existing approaches by creating more representative, more detailed and more flexible system where each source (media) can be registered, annotated and updated automatically by machine-based enrichment, indexing and ranking, using scientifically proven methodology. To solve the we conduct a series of applied research activities and create prototypes to achieve a disruptively new product, much needed by global service providers of clipping services, PR specialists, media analysts, business and science. Our current TRL, a strong expert team, the unique characteristics of the solution, the available access to the market and low production costs provide a set of important competitive advantages to expand the future market potential of the archive. The project will engage 9 people in the town of Vratsa and in Sofia, responsible for 1. the introduction of an objective system for multidimensional assessment of the significance of sources and, 2. the extraction and processing of data via semantics. The successful development of this innovative archive will allow us to place an order for the development of a service delivery technology.
