Developing innovative product from "VIDEO TEHNOLOGIES" LTD

"VIDEO TECHNOLOGIES" is established in 2016 with main activity Computer programming. Within the project, the company plans to develop a new product - an innovative "native" app for mobile devices, smart phones and tablets using ANDROID operating system. The application will be used to playback video streams on Android phones and tablets. The streams could be TV channels or video streams from a variety of live events that are broadcasted over IP networks or the Internet. The "native" application which will be developed by the company will be innovative with its functionality, as well as using new methods and approaches for video playback. At the heart of the development will be used an innovative protocol MPEG-DASH, that optimizes Internet traffic to the clients playing video stream on their Android handset. Client device running the installed native application will select and switch to the most appropriate of the available video resolutions for a video stream according to the current load on the network. Developing innovation is "native" application and falls entirely within the scope of ICT and Informatics - direction of the thematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for intelligent specialization. After completion of the innovative product it will be sold to Bulgarian and foreign broadcasters seeking to optimize their network Internet traffic and gain competitive advantage. Within the project "VIDEO TECHNOLOGIES" will purchase the necessary fixed assets for the development of the innovative "native" application - one "Adaptive media streamer" and one "License of software for testing of registration, authorization and management of Android devices". The purchased assets will be used in recent business facility in Sofia city. With this project "VIDEO TECHNOLOGIES" will increase its competitiveness by creating new market advantages by introducing and developing innovative "native" application.
