Creation and testing of prototype software platform for alternative and extreme tourism and sport

The innovative idea, which includes development of prototype software platform for alternative and extreme tourism, is a result of established lack of unified web-based software system, which includes information for the opportunities for amateur sport (traditional, non-mass, extreme and other), and also information for the existing local sports infrastructure and the conditions for organization of sport events and conditions for untraditional tourism. The idea is to implement internet platform that gathers in one place the interests of those who are willing to train, offer sports facilities and opportunities for alternative and extreme tourism. The essence of the platform is to satisfy the demand of such type of information and to ease the development of the mass sport in all its varieties. At the moment there is no such a multifunctional software product on the market. The existing websites contain a small amount of information just for the most popular sports and are limited to certain places. Based on our own survey and experiment the team of Sport Tur ltd. clearly identified the market opportunity for development of innovative platform. The collected and analised information clearly shows that the platform will affect positively the development of the non-seasonal and niche tourism. This is due to the fact, that more and more untraditional and extreme sports are practiced, which provokes the creation of specific tourist product. The business argument of the innovative platforms consists of the provision of direct, fast and effective connection between all interested parties. To this date the computer platform is created to the stage of conception and its market relevance is proven by an experiment. Considering the right and precise creation of the final product it is necessary to create a prototype, which will be tested.
