Science and Technology Park – Phase 2

The project is directed towards the further development of the existent pro-innovation environment in Bulgaria, which encompasses all aspects of scientific research, technological development and innovation and which will help identify, encourage and develop innovative ideas and projects. The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of science and entrepreneurship in Bulgaria by improving the knowledge exchange between academia and business, supporting startup companies and innovative ideas and catalyzing the process of research commercialization. The investment into the creation of STP is expected to improve the conditions for the support of projects, which generate new knowledge and potential for the creation of innovative products, processes and services, stimulating sectors of the economy with a high added value and lead to an improvement of the competitiveness of the economy and the generation of additional employment. This application form contains activities, constituting the second phase/part of the project STP. The main activities, suggested for implementation within the second phase are the following: 1) Construction works for the Pedestrian bridge 2) Delivery of equipment and software 3) Delivery of furniture 4) Delivery of the necessary computer and office equipment 5) Supply of roof construction as equipment for sports complex 6) Development, design and construction of museum exposition 7) Incubator operator selection 8) Prepare a business plan for the incubator 9) Providing services to the incubator 10) Creating a model of a voucher system 11) Creating a software platform for shared use of equipment 12) Patents, licensing and certification procedures 13) Creating a database for research infrastructure 14) Organizing advertising campaigns 15) Preparation of specific scientific analysis 16) Creating and maintaining a website 17) Providing security for the park 18) Legal services 19) Project organizing and management (salaries)
