NEW MAKER Ltd. is an innovative and market-oriented company. The ambition of the company is to increase its innovation capacity by applying the knowledge and experience of highly qualified specialists in the field of clean technologies. The aim is by taking advantage of the knowledge and experience gathered trough fundamental and applied scientific studies in the field of polymer based composite materials to develop an innovative product for the world market - REINFORCED CELLULOSE-POLYMER COMPOSITE FOR MANUFACTURE OF ROOF TILES. The innovative product to be developed is based on the utilization of an organic waste product from another production - rice husks and recycled thermoplastic polymer, with characteristics (e.g. strength and resistance to high loads) superior to the composites currently used in the roof tile production. Development of a product addressing the “clean technology” and "green markets" priorities by adopting technologies and knowledge in resource efficiency will allow NEW MAKER to contribute to the development of a low carbon and resource-efficient economy, to increase the share of enterprises that develop and distribute product and production innovations in the ISIS thematic areas, to meet the strategic objectives of this procedure and the specific objective of Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” Priority Axis 1, i.e. to increase the innovation activities of enterprises.
