Development of a new type diffractive optical element

Demax Holograms is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of holographic security elements. With more than 22 years of experience, we have accumulated a substantial capacity in the development of different types of optic elements with different applications. The aim of the project is to develop a new type diffractive optical element with enhanced security features and aesthetic characteristics, which will form an image with non-spectral colours – non-spectral diffraction optical element It will contain different features of a three-step identification: visual, expert and automatic. The element will be implemented to improve the design of the product, as well as a reliable security element. After further development it is possible that the element will be use also for telecommunications. The project is entirely research based and the work involved is high-tech. We will work systematically to develop the three effects, where highly qualified staff will work in order to achieve optimal results, high quality and a unique end product. Mathematical models for the purpose of this development will be created and implemented. Sustainable 20 jobs will be created for 24 months for different types of highly qualified specialists. Different materials and supplies will be used to initiate multiple attempts, in order to establish the optimal parameters for the technology and the correct mathematical models. Hi-tech equipment will be used, owned by the company. New printing materials will be developed after testing for successful combination of various components. The products that will be created as a consequence, with the implementation of the new optical element, as well as the three-step identification product, for which we will have a prototype, will be implemented on a national as well as international markets and are an innovation worldwide. At the end of the project we will have a product and technologies, reaching a level of technological readiness TRL6.
