Develompement of innovative product by "Milkotester" Ltd

The current project proposal aims at developing a product innovation – device for cell analysis “Milkotester Cell Aanalyzer”, “MCA 01”- to the technological readiness level of TRL 6. The innovative product will be developed by the candidate in partnership with the scientific organization Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. A team of experts from the two organizations has been formed to develop the innovation, uniting their efforts, their sources in order to achieve the common goal, sharing both the results and the risks of the project. For the development of the innovative product there will be carried out research activities, examinations, measurements that are necessary for developing the innovation and to create and examine the prototype, as the salary costs of the project team are among the main project costs. Additionally, in order to implement the research and development activity, the expenses under this project are envisaged to finance the purchase of laboratory and examination devices, materials and consumables, also the assignment of an external service for the synthesis of a set of dyes. Moreover, there will be depreciations costs of computer equipment for creating, developing and examining if digital drawing and model of the innovation. By providing the financial resources described above and the implementation of these activities, a product innovation will be created that will fall within the thematic area 2 “Mechatronics and clean technologies” of Innovation strategy for smart specialization (ISSS) and more precisely in the field of mechatronics. This described strand is prioritize in the South Central Planning Region (city of Belovo), where the main activities of the product development will be carried out. Moreover, the innovative device that will developed to technological readiness level of TRL 6, will represent a novelty on the Pan-European and global market, given the absence of such device, that will combine the described features.
