Developing an innovative connected / smart home intelligent management system for the needs of blind or visually impaired persons.

The project proposal refers to the development of an innovative connected /smart home intelligent management system for the needs of blind or visually impaired persons, based on Internet of Things/IoT/, that will solve their everyday problems with the use of appliances unsuitable for their physical capabilities and will increase energy efficiency, security and comfort in their homes. The solution is based on fully wireless, battery-powered devices without the need for additional wiring, built into all existing electrical appliances, with application in both individual homes and office premises, available for remote control and management from anywhere via the Internet through any WEB device. One of the main advantages of the innovative system is that its use is not geographically limited due to the ability to maintain almost all languages-over 36. Another unique advantages of the development are the ability to control heating /cooling, access, security and protection from fire and flood/.It creates additional comfort by adding an innovative type of voice interface. The innovative system allows to save heating costs within 20-40%. The team, envisaged for the project, has extensive experience in the development of innovative solutions in the field of electronics and robotics, and in an effective partnership with the team from Micro Nano Lab and Artificial Intelligence and CAD Systems Laboratory at Sofia Tech Park AD, guarantees the successful development of the product and increased competitiveness of TELESOFT CONSULTING LTD; The development falls within the scope of the Priority Axis Robotics and Process Automation, including 3-D modeling of robotic automated systems from the ISIS thematic area Mechatronics and Clean Technologies and corresponds to the objectives of Priority Axis 1 Technological Development and Innovation to synchronize the efforts in the sphere of economic development, research and innovation and to strengthen the link between science and business.
