Development of innovations in BIO FRESH LTD

BIO FRESH LTD was established in 2000, as our main business is production of cosmetic products. Our best selling products are based on specific Bulgarian ingredients as the company invests considerable resources in the development of innovation in this area. We strive to make the best from our plants, and foods with traditional specific character, seeking opportunities for their use in cosmetic and food products. The present project is aimed at developing product innovation by conducting industrial scientific researches for development of an innovative product - a functional food and beverage supplement for purification and detoxification of the organism. The planned project activities include activities under element A and activities under element B: 1. Conducting of research, testing, measurements needed for development of the product innovation 2. Creating and testing of prototypes and pilot lines related to the development of the product innovation 3. Acquisition of tangible fixed assets required for the development of the product innovation 4. Visualization of the project The implementation of the project will lead to the development of innovation corresponding to the 7th level of technological readiness - TRL 7 - Prototype demonstrated in an operational environment. The realization of the project will lead to the development of a product, falling within the priority axes of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization thematic areas - "Industry for Healthy Life and Biotechnology" and in particular "bio-technologies with direct application to a healthy lifestyle", incl. based on regional specialization. The expected results of the project are: developed innovation in the thematic areas of ISSS; an increased share of enterprises developing product and production innovations in the thematic areas of ISSS; increased innovation capacity and competitiveness of BIO FRESH LTD.
