Development of an innovative System for management of data in a cloud environment

The implementation of this project will lead to the development of a Cloud Data Management System - an innovative product falling within the scope of the Mechatronics and Clean Technologies field (design and production of high-tech products) of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation (ISSS). The innovation under development will be a novelty of a global scale - it will outperform all existing solutions for data management in cloud environment by overcoming major issues related to the security of critical information and data. In the solutions that presently exist, user data is stored on media that are protected, but data itself is not protected. The proposed system will solve this problem by providing automated management and protection of traffic and data and eliminating the need for system administration. The proposed innovation is fundamental, and industrial scientific research and studies, which are crucial to the validation of the technology and the demonstration of the prototype, will be carried out in the framework of the project. The following main project activities will be implemented: Element A: Activity No 1: „Implementation of research, tests, measurements needed to develop the product innovation” * Formation of expert team of highly qualified specialists; * Provision of a laboratory environment by hiring specialised equipment to carry out the research; * Implementation of research, tests, measurements needed to develop the product innovation; Activity No 2: „Development and testing of a prototype of the Cloud Data Management System ” Element B: Activity No 3: „Purchase of specialised software needed to perform the research“; Activity No 4: „Visualisation“. At the end of the project, the developed innovation will have reached a technological readiness level corresponding to TRL 7 „Prototype demonstrated in an operational environment".
