Subject of the proposed project is the industrial-science research which purpose is to develop and adopt in regular exploitation an innovative technology for designing and producing a line of solid-propellant rocket engines with the means of digital twins, using the methods of virtual engineering with digital twins. The project is a continuation of the development of digital technologies in VMZ Sopot. In 2017 VMZ Sopot bought 10 web licenses for a high class software product for engineer designing and production - SIEMENS NX CAD/CAM/CAE which provides the opportunity for developing a special technology for digital design using digital models (for the design of the products, the planning of their production process and following control). With the performance of the current project, there will be new computer means and technologies for trimer engineer modelling, virtual engineering, engineer analysis, engineer simulations, control of engineer information and data base with the purpose of effective designing of high tech products and development of the technological processes, which are adopted in modern industries. This will give the opportunity of using methods and means of informational technologies integrated CAD/ CAM/ CAE and PLM systems, which include 3D technologies and virtual engineering in designing, researching and development new products and new technological processes, and also technologies for quick building of prototypes, methods for quick creation of shaping instruments and applying robotics and industrial automation. The performance of the project is planned for 24 months and its stages are broken down in stages in concordance with the methodology CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process Model of Data Mining). WITH THE PERFOMRANCE OF THE PROJECT, A NEW LEADING WORLD CLASS TECHNOLOGY OF SPECIAL MANUFACTURING WILL BE RALIZED.
