Development of innovative system for automatic control and regulation of indoor air condition, using a network of senors and controllers, combined in Big Data environment.

This project proposal is aimed at developing of innovative system for automatic control and regulation of indoor air condition, using a network of senors and controllers, combined in Big Data environment. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Institute of information and communication technologies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The proposed innovation falls under the thematic area "ICT and Informatics" from the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization in the "Big Data Grid and Cloud Technologies" and "Wireless sensor networks and wireless communication/control" divisions. The innovative product will allow high degree of automation, real time capturing, measuring and control of the main indicators of the indoor air quality, in accordance to preset minimal and maximal levels by the end system's Users. The data will be stored in Big Data information massive, if the End User has agreed with that and will be available for scientist researches and usage for the development of new innovative products for better life environment and quality indoor air parameters. The product is intended for end users, business users and different organizations. The access to the available information in the Big Data Cloud service will be granted free of charge to any scientist, environmental or other public organizations, working in the field developing better life conditions. The main costs associated with project implementation and innovation development are related to the recruitment of 8 qualified experts who will be responsible for the development processes and the tests on the hardware components, controllers and the eco system structure of wireless sensors. The research category under the project is under the "industrial research" mode and level of technological readiness of the service at the end of the project will be TRL7. The project proposal will build on the scientific achievements achieved from DSI Ltd. in the automation field.
