SkimProt Ltd. Is a small enterprise in Sofia, engaged in the developments in the field of IT and ICT. For this project a new software platform for tracking and identification of bioproducts, will be developed. It will guarantee and verify their authenticity and will integrate technologies for augmented reality for interactive consumer experience. It is planned that the project’s team will consist of 2 experts – a business analysts for the IT area, which will shape the overall concept, will describe the necessary modules, functionalities and algorithms. The platform itself will be customized by an external contract based on our request. A platform with similar integrated functionalities such as augmented reality does not currently exist on the market and if successful the project will offer a unique solution to the worldwide market. This, in turn, will enable us to generate a substantial profit and allow us to continue our research and development and expand the team. In addition to the unique “augmented reality” in our project, we plan on adding a hologram sticker to the product packaging, which will contain information, guarantee the tracking, which we want to achieve. We will provide 2 jobs for the duration of the project, which we plan on preserving after that. At the moment the projects is at level TRL2 of technological readiness. The concept is proven through an experiment and as a result the fulfillment of the activity will reach level TRL6 – technology, demonstrated in the relevant environment. The project as well as the obtained results fall within the thematic area of ISIS “ICT and IT”, which makes it a priority for the south-west region, where we are situated. As a result from the implementation of the project, we will have a prototype of the platform, which will provide easy personalisation, according to the needs and wants of the future consumers, which includes the availability of outlined program codes and developed modules.
