Developing a manufacturing innovation in the area of Mechatronics and Clean Technologies

The overall objective of the project is to promote the development and enhance the innovation capacity of SOLERI by supporting the development and dissemination of a manufacturing innovation under the "Mechatronics and Clean Technologies" priority topic with an emphasis on energy, namely - an innovative global technology for the application of selective and corrosion-resistant coatings for highly efficient absorbers of a combined system of three types of solar collectors. This is a priority topic for the South Central Region, where innovation will be developed. The development of the production innovation will be carried out by highly qualified experts in the field of energy and Renewable Energy Sources (RES), and in partnership with the scientific organization Central Laboratory of Solar Energy and New Energy Sources at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The innovation is an industrial research and in the framework of the project, planned studies and tests on the creation and testing of a technology prototype, will be conducted, reaching a TRL 7 technological level of readiness. The project is implemented through research, testing and measurement activities related to the development of the manufacturing innovation; creation and testing of a prototype model; and acquisition of new equipment and specialized software needed to develop the technology.
