Developing inovations at Eurotex 21 LTD

Launched in 1994 Eurotex 21 LTD is the only company manufacturing table tuft bath mats in Bulgaria. Almost all of the company’s production is exported – we are Germany’s, Belgium’s, England’s French’s, Denmark’s, Austria’s large retails chains main supplier. Our products are manufactured by hand tufting technology from high quality poly acrylic yarns that are highly expedient for fabricating bath mats. We guarantee the best possible yarn twisting that is very important for the durability of the high-quality bath mats, along with special layers of latex and other materials to help secure the back of the rug. The project’s planned activities include expanding the possibilities for better antibacterial properties of mats for wet rooms by using natural and mineral components and mixtures. This is a product innovation for the company and is a novelty on the global and European market. The innovative product will carry on the tradition associated with continuous development activities in order to improve the company’s products. The target audience of the project is the consumers of bath mats – individuals, public organizations and other. The project objectives are: increase of the innovative capacity in areas of the ISSS, development of a futuristic product with optimal application in manufacturing accessories for wet rooms. The project’s activities are: accomplishing research and tests necessary for the advancement of a product innovation with the help of experts and achieving technology readiness level 6 - TRL6 - System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment. The expected results are: increase of competitive power and innovative capacity of Eurotex 21 LTD. Appropriate steps for publicity and visualization are provided according to Annex XII to Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013.
