Development of the product innovation "Attraction Facility for wingsuit flights with vertical lift system"

The development of the innovation “Attraction Facility for wingsuit flights with vertical lift system” is a product innovation for the company Walltopia AD. This product innovation is expected to provide a new functionality and a new way of operation of the existing version of the product “Rollglider”, which is a gravity-driven attractions line. In order to use it its customers are sliding down a curved trajectory and while doing this they experience a different speed and different gravity acceleration while gliding. The targeted new functionality of the innovative product would provide its users with the opportunity to experience close to free flight feeling while gliding down in a wingsuit with higher gliding speed then the one currently possible. The product innovation development is expected also to provide a new way of operations of the product by using a vertical lift system, which will optimize its use by customers and operations and also the footprint needed for its installation. According to the existing market information currently available there is no attraction line that provides the wingsuit flight functionality which is operated by vertical lift system. The successful accomplishment of the development of the product innovation “Attraction Facility for wingsuit flights with vertical list system” would require – industrial scientific research for gaining new knowledge for the technology which has to be used for the accomplishment of the successful development of the product innovation. The development would also require building of a prototype in operational environment in order to test the prototype which will have technology readiness level TRL 7 “System prototype demonstration in operational environment”.
