Support for conducting industrial research to develop a prototype of product innovation in PrimeX Ltd.

The present project is presented by PrimeX Ltd. - a micro enterprise, which is developing in the field of refrigeration and ventilation equipment production. The project includes activities and costs for developing, designing, prototyping and testing the "Water-Water / Air-Water Heat Pump" for the production of cold water for cooling installations, hot water for heating installations and hot water for domestic purposes and technological processes. The project is focused on industrial research, which will achieve the level of technological readiness TRL 7 - Prototype, demonstrated in an operating environment. An effective partnership with TU Sofia - University research complex for innovation and knowledge transfer in the field of micro / nanotechnologies and materials, energy efficiency and virtual engineering is envisaged. The innovative Air-Water / Water-Water Heat-Recovery, Heat Recovery and Storage is world-class product innovation and falls into the Mechatronics and Clean Technologies Division of Innovation strategy for smart specialization. In essence, innovation has a serious environmental impact because it saves significantly the consumption of energy resources and reduces the CO2 emissions to zero levels. The expected results of the project implementation are the development of complete technical, constructive and technological documentation of the innovative product, prototyping and testing of two types of heat pumps - water-water and air-water.
