SUSTAINABLE FLEET

GPS BULGARIA AD is a leading Bulgarian provider of high-tech GPS/GSM based solutions for fleet control and management that develops and provides fleet management systems software whose main functionalities are control over different parameters of the vehicle, generation of various reports, route management, etc. The functionalities mentioned are available through different elements of a web-based module system. The software is available as a service in different packages according to the functionalities package available to the client. Subject of the present project proposal is the development of an innovative software product (service) in the field of the GPS-based systems for transport, logistics and total fleet management - “SUSTAINABLE FLEET”. The main goal is to significantly improve the main service of the company of fleet management by conducting industrial scientific research (ISR) for development of additional stable and socio-economic functions of the system, which would improve the efficiency and provide mechanisms for development of a stable transport and for reducing the harmful effects on the environment. The development is on level TRL1 (basic principles observed and reported), ISRs are the next studies to be conducted for developing the technology to TRL 7 (prototype, demonstrated in an operational environment). The development shall be realized on two stages as the project provides the following activities: - Conducting the research, the tests, the measurements, necessary for the development of the innovation; - Creating and testing the prototype of the innovation. The activities shall be conducted by hired expert candidates and by assigning them to external contractors, according to the necessary qualifications, capacity and experience. The results expected are the development of an innovative service with high added value and market potential, which would improve the innovative capacity and the competitive status of the company.
