Development of an Intelligent System for Automatic Generation of Expert Solutions

The project focuses on the development of an innovative product - an intelligent system for automatic generation of expert solutions that is new on the market and exceeds the alternatives on the European market and which is based on the use of new knowledge - development of a semantic search algorithm. The project refers to the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization of the Republic of Bulgaria’s priority area of the thematic area of ICT and informatics. As a result of the implementation of the project, the applicant will increase and develop his innovative capacity and competitiveness with the potential for introducing the developed innovation into the economy. The innovative product will be an intelligent software system developed on the basis of artificial intelligence, semantic search engines, natural language processing and summary of many automated casework documents in a particular field. The final result of the development - the prototype of the system, will be tested and will be able to show results using a specific field - the one of law. The purpose of the development is to create an application that adequately responds to user questions and that will be tested in the legal field. The software will be able to connect to different “knowledge libraries” (different databases) and will be able to respond in different fields, i.e. it will find application in various spheres of science and business. The implementation of the project will be realized by a team of the applicant and the project partner, on the basis of employment contracts, by the use of an external service for the prototype development of the product as well as by renting, for the duration of the project, of fixed assets - a server with optimal parameters for the purpose of the knowledge libraries, required for the research and development activity. The innovation development will reach TRL7 - System prototype demonstrated in operational environment in the project fraework.
